Your heart will jump for joy, while your legs will simply be raring to go once they sense the Dolomites of the Eggental valley! As part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the sight of these peaks gets under your skin and straight to your heart – and, to top it all, the mountains offer a vast range of hiking, biking, climbing, skiing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing tours. You don’t always have to reach the summit, either, as a circular hike over the pastures has a charm of its own – in culinary, scenic and exercise terms. And, while a walk among meadow flowers or winter forests is good for the muscles, it is above all good for the soul.
Located below the Rosengarten and Latemar massifs, the Eggental valley contains routes for every level of fitness, from leisurely to challenging – all year round. Not to mention such visitor activities as golf, tobogganing, horse riding, ice skating or swimming, whether you are young or young at heart! In short, the Eggental valley is a mecca for sports – of practically every kind!
Holders of the Mountain Pass can use 17 lifts in the heart of the Rosengarten, Latemar and Schlern/Sciliar any three or five days within a period of seven consecutive days.
